A New Chapter Begins

After eight months of preparation, our official website is finally live.

At the beginning of this year, we carried a dream — to create pet furniture that feels as warm and textured as real home life. Countless design drafts were drawn, revised, and refined. We wanted every detail to express one belief: pet products can be as refined, emotional, and meaningful as furniture itself.

When the final design was completed, it felt like seeing something that had only existed in our dreams. But reality quickly hit us — we understood design, yet we didn’t know how to turn drawings into real objects. For the next three months, we worked through endless nights and countless trials. All we could do was keep moving forward, solving one problem after another.

When we finally received our first 3D-printed prototype, we told our friends with excitement, “This is what we’re going to make.”

From Craft to Product

Over the following six months, we devoted ourselves entirely to ceramic making—testing firing temperatures, learning how to turn soft clay into stable molds, adjusting color consistency, and ensuring that each bowl and base fit perfectly and were safe for both people and pets. Every step was full of uncertainty and challenge, yet deeply fulfilling.

There were many moments when we wanted to give up. Each time, we looked at our very first sample and told ourselves, “Just a little longer.” By August, we finally created a piece that looked and felt complete. But then came a new challenge—how could we keep producing while preserving the soul of our work?

We refused to turn it into an industrial product. No plastics. No mass production. Instead, we chose to handcraft each piece in a small studio—the very place where our dream truly began.

Our Promise

MINI NIUNIU continues our 15-year journey as space designers— bringing our understanding of design, warmth, and living into the world of pet and home products. We may not be able to fulfill every order immediately, but we promise that each piece will be made with sincerity, patience, and craftsmanship.

Our only regret is not documenting more of the process. But perhaps what matters most is not what we captured, but what we experienced together.
